A motivated mechanical design professional with hands-on experience in mechanical component design, 2D drafting, 3D modeling and manufacturing-oriented documentation. Strong exposure to production support, assembly understanding, and design-for-manufacturing practices, with practical knowledge of pumps, motors, gear systems, sheet metal, and fabricated structures. 

Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, with a clear focus on accurate geometry, parametric modeling, GD&T application, and shop-floor usability. Comfortable working across design, analysis support, and production environments, ensuring designs are both technically correct and practically executable.

🔹 Mechanical CAD Modeling

  • Parametric 3D modeling of mechanical components and assemblies
  • Creation of part and assembly models with proper mates and constraints
  • Sheet metal modeling with bend logic and fabrication feasibility
  • Surface and solid modeling for complex mechanical parts
  • Design updates and revisions based on functional requirements

🔹 Manufacturing Drawings & GD&T

  • Preparation of detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
  • Application of GD&T as per ASME Y14.5 standards
  • Clear dimensioning, tolerances, notes, and part identification
  • Creation of STEP, DXF, and fabrication-ready drawing files
  • Drawing support for QC inspection and production assembly

🔹 Assembly & Production Support

  • Understanding of component fit, alignment, and motion in assemblies
  • Experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and rotary equipment
  • Support for assembly sequencing and installation logic
  • Interpretation of engineering drawings for production teams
  • Documentation support including part lists and assembly references

🔹 Analysis & Engineering Tools

  • Basic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using SolidWorks Simulation
  • Structural and vibration-related understanding for rotating equipment
  • Exposure to process improvement and lean engineering concepts
  • Technical problem-solving for mechanical design challenges
  • Continuous learning in advanced CAD and engineering tools
