  • Proficient in 1D, 2D, and 3D Finite Element Modeling for complex automotive subsystems.
  • Strong experience in dummy positioning, belt routing, and seat anchorage validation.
  • Skilled in identifying penetrations, intersections, and quality issues in meshed models.
  • Hands-on exposure to modal, static, and impact simulations for various vehicle load cases.

🔹 Simulation & Analysis Expertise

  • Execution of Crash and Safety simulations including FMVSS 207/210, 202a, and 225 load cases.
  • Development and validation of solver decks for frontal, rearward, and cargo retention impacts.
  • Model setup, boundary condition definition, and debugging of simulation decks in LS-Dyna.
  • Pre- and post-processing using Hypermesh, Hyperview, and Primer for full-vehicle assemblies.
  • Evaluating stress propagation and deformation patterns for design optimization.
     

🔹 FE Modeling & Connections

  • Creation of FE models for BIW, interior trims, closures, and seating systems.
  • Execution of 1D connections such as beams, rigids, spot welds, and NRBs.
  • Proficient in defining contacts, constraints, and tie interfaces for realistic model behavior.
  • Ensuring mesh quality, element flow, and convergence per industry standards.
  • Generating query PPTs and quality reports to support design teams.

🔹 Tools & Technical Proficiency

  • CAE Tools: Hypermesh, LS-Dyna, Hyperview, OptiStruct, HyperGraph, Primer, ANSA (Basics).
  • Report & Data Tools: Excel-based project tracking and CAE feedback preparation (PPT).
  • Strong knowledge of deck preparation, material assignment, and simulation debugging.
  • Exposure to NVH and Modal Analysis to assess system vibration and stiffness behavior.
