🔹 Product Design & Development

  • Engineering of plastic and sheet-metal components with Draft Analysis, Parting Line/Parting Surface Creation, and Class A/B/C Surfacing.
  • BOM creation, revision handling, and integration of engineering changes (ECNs/ECRs).

🔹 Tooling, Fixtures & Gauge Engineering

  • Design and detailing of checking fixtures, validation gauges, and special-purpose tooling.
  • Creation of manufacturing drawings with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and datum structuring.
  • Development of assembly intelligence for repeatable positioning, alignment, and measurement.
  • Design modification based on fatigue/endurance test results for improved durability.
  • Optimization of tooling elements for manufacturability, accessibility, and operator safety.

🔹 Automotive Body & Plastic Component Design

  • Hood, fender, roof, back-door, and inner/outer panel design using master sections and OEM guidelines.
  • Development of closing flanges, hemming profiles, emboss reinforcements, mastic regions, and drip/roof rail structures.
  • Design of plastic interior trims, bezels, holders, and full panel assemblies with engineering features.
  • Core & cavity development for injection molding with draft studies and tooling feasibility.
  • Impact-based considerations including frontal crash influence, heat distortion, and snow-load behavior.

🔹 Performance Testing & Validation

  • Fatigue, endurance, and static load testing of mechanical components and prototypes.
  • Fixture setup creation for custom test conditions based on customer-specific protocols.
  • Validation and reporting of prototype samples with structured test documentation.
  • Root-cause analysis and corrective measures based on test deviations.
  • Process Flow Diagram (PFD) preparation to support validation and plant operations.

🔹 Documentation, Compliance & Engineering Processes

  • CAD Platforms: CATIA V5, Siemens NX, AutoCAD
  • Documentation Tools: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management tools
