DURATION: 5-7 Days
BUDGET: ₹10,000 - 18,000 INR
We have an existing design in Fusion 360 that requires detailed modifications. The design, as illustrated in the attached image, is a drum brake shoe comprising a metal structure with two brake pads attached by multiple rivets. Currently, this entire assembly is modeled as a single solid entity, which limits our ability to conduct precise analyses.
To achieve accurate thermal simulations, it is essential to modify the design so that the metal structure, brake pads, and rivets are separated into individual solid components. By breaking these elements into distinct parts, we will be able to assign specific material properties to each component. This is crucial for our simulations, as different materials respond differently to thermal stresses and loads.
The metal structure, brake pads, and rivets each play a unique role in the overall functionality and performance of the brake shoe. Therefore, representing them as separate solids will not only enhance our ability to simulate thermal properties accurately but also provide a more detailed understanding of their interactions and behaviors under varying conditions.
