Design and development of a parametric sheet-metal capsule cabin structure (20–30 m²) for knock-down assembly and CNC-based fabrication. Scope includes structural frame, exterior skin panels, fastening interfaces, lifting provisions, window and door openings, weldments, and assembly features optimized for laser/plasma cutting, forming, transportation, and on-site bolted installation.
Technical Deliverables:
• Complete 3D CAD assembly and part models (SolidWorks native, STEP).
• Flat-pattern DXF/STEP files for all sheet-metal components.
• Material specifications, sheet gauges, bend allowances, bend tables, and grain direction callouts.
• Detailed fabrication drawings with GD&T, critical dimensions, weld symbols, and tolerance requirements.
• Exploded assembly drawings, fastening details, sealing interfaces, and lifting-point documentation.
• Material BOM, CNC cutting files, assembly manual, and production-ready manufacturing documentation.
• Design iterations for panel segmentation, door/window cut-outs, and structural member placement.
