Advanced Bionic Arm Design

PROJECT ID: PCOMAR02125

BUDGET:  ₹450.00 – 750.00 INR/Hr

EST. TIME: Less than 14 hrs/wk

Scope of Work:

We're developing a bionic prosthetic arm project & looking for engineers to help with both the mechanical design and electronics/PCB design.

 1. Mechanical Engineer

- Experience with CAD software (Fusion 360 preferred but not required)
- Design and improve a 3D-printable prosthetic hand/arm
- Work with servo-driven mechanisms for finger movement
- Ensure parts are strong, lightweight, and easy to assemble
- Help optimize the design for 3D printing

2. Electrical Engineer

- Experience with PCB design
- Design a custom PCB to control and integrate:
- 11 servo motors
- 5 EMG muscle sensors
- 2 oximeter sensors to measure blood oxygen (SpO₂), heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature
- ESP32 or Arduino-based controller
- Implement power management for a battery-powered system
- Provide schematic, PCB layout, and BOM

Project Details:

- The arm will use 5 EMG sensors to detect muscle activity and control movement
- 11 servo motors will control the fingers and wrist
- 2 oximeter sensors will be used to monitor SpO₂, heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature
- The controller will likely be ESP32
- The system should be compact and optimized for wearable robotics
