Modular 12'x12' Adjustable Climbing Wall Design

PROJECT ID: PCOMAY02650

BUDGET:  $2,000.00 - 2,800.00 CAD

EST. TIME: 10-30 Days

Scope of Work:

We are developing a 12' x 12' electric adjustable climbing training board. The electrical hardware and software are handled; we require an expert mechanical engineer to design the structural skeleton, mechanical movement system, and Packaging logistics.

Key Objectives:

Movement Range: The board must adjust from -10° (slabs) to 70° (steep overhang).

Kickboard: A 400mm fixed kickboard at the base of the wall before the panel axes point.  Mechanical Innovation: We are considering a rocker system to reduce actuator stroke and load while maintaining a slim footprint behind the wall.

Design for Logistics (DFL): The entire 12'x12' with 400mm kick board structure must be modular and pack down to fit on standard 1200mm x 1000mm pallets.

Compliance: Design must meet European Climbing Wall Standards (EN 12572).  Technical

Requirements:

Materials: 18mm birch plywood face. Considering a boxed metal profile (steel or aluminium) rear structure.

Clearances: No mechanical components can interfere with LED attachment points or standard T-nut patterns behind the panels.

Slim Profile: The goal is to be slimmer and more "low-profile" than current market producers.

.

Deliverables:

Full 3D CAD models (SolidWorks preferred).

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) reports for load-bearing safety (specifically addressing concrete pull-out loads).

Detailed Shop Drawings for manufacturing.

Production/BOM list and Procurement list for off-the-shelf parts (actuators, fasteners, etc.).   Palletisation/Packaging layout for flat-pack shipping.
