We're looking for a skilled Design Engineer to develop a 3D CAD model of a compliant mechanism intended for 3D printing.

This project involves designing a mechanism that utilizes flexible structural elements to achieve motion without conventional hinges or mechanical joints. The design should be optimized for functionality, manufacturability, and reliable mechanical performance.
Scope of Work:

1. Develop a detailed 3D CAD model of the compliant mechanism based on the reference design.

2. Design and integrate flexible components to achieve the required motion.

3. Ensure proper clearances, component alignment, and assembly functionality.

4. Optimize the geometry for 3D printing, considering material properties and printing constraints.

5. Evaluate the mechanism's functionality and identify potential designer improvements.

Deliverables:

• Complete 3D CAD model of the mechanism.
• Editable native CAD files.
• STEP files for manufacturing.
• STL files for 3D printing.
